Stanford researchers have made a discovery that could signal the arrival of laptop batteries that last more than a day on a single charge.The researchers have found a way to use silicon nanowires to give rechargeable Lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries used in laptops, iPods, and cell phones as much as 10 times more charge – that’s 40 hours battery life
