I bought this at Best Buy for $89 and it’s here for $20. I would buy it here. It’s a great product. And it does actually work. How it works is you plug the USB cord into your iPod (I have an iPod Touch) and plug the other end into the power outlet of your car. Select a radio station that is not active and program the iTrip to the same station number. Your play list will play through your car speakers. And that’s it. For me, I live in Chicago and 159.0 worked best but where you live, you have to play around with it for a while till you find the clearest station. I have not found a station that didn’t produce white noise (A hissing noise like on a T.V that is turned on but not hooked up; T.V snow) but it is very minimal and hard to hear when the iPod is playing. If you’re very picky with sound quality, I would not buy a transmitter. This is the only transmitter I’ve tried so I’m not sure if all produce white noise. But for $20 (Sadly, $89 for me) I would buy it.

I have no complaints about this product. It works exactly as it should. I especially like the preset station feature. It prevents me from having to scroll through to my preferred stations while I am driving.

While I’ve used this product only a couple times, my experience is positive. Unlike the previous FM transmitter I purchased, this one has a relatively strong signal in urban surroundings, decent sound quality, and does not sacrifice too much volume. Very pleased (so far).

The iTrip is great for hearing your iPod playlist thru your car speakers via the in dash radio. The volume is, however, a problem. When using the iTrip, you need to turn your volume up then when you turn it off and the radio comes, on the volume is deafening. Also, I bought this item one day and the very next day it was $10 cheaper. That made me very upset.

I buyed Griffin iTrip like 5 month and it the best FM Transmitter that i know. It works very good almost with any Ipod.
