Good little case for the iPod. It just provides that little peace of mind that allows me to toss it into my briefcase without worrying about it.
I do agree with other reviewers that the “cord management” lump on the back is useless if you aren’t using Apple ear buds, but I use over the ear headphones and knew I wouldn’t be using it anyway.
One note about reviewers referencing the stickers on the surface shield…the sheets with the stickers on them aren’t the surface shield. They are just, well, shields for the surface shield. You peel off the front and back and use the middle bit. It took me half an hour of trying to put the flimsy “shield shield” on the iPod and not understanding why I couldn’t keep the bubbles out from under it to figure that one out…
4 Stars Slim and Sleek
I purchased the DLO Jam Jacket about 2 weeks ago and I have found it a really great accessory to my iPod Touch. The headphones holder in the back is a great addition to the product and has come in handy especially for when I just want to surf the net with the Touch and not have the headphones flying around everywhere, but they’re still neatly attached the back of it.
One of the things I was concerned about while ordering it online was that it would be bulky and really either weight the Touch down or make it harder to fight my pocket. However the Jacket has a really amazing design and doesn’t add much to the size of the Touch at all besides the back portion for the headphones.
The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of three was because of the plastic screen you get to cover the LCD. While it was has never been a problem functionally or cleaning wise, it is a bit of a pain to put on. I would suggest making sure that both surfaces are completely clean before applying the plastic screen on, and also that you apply it in the middle and push the air outwards. I got a few bubbles in it and some that won’t come out because there is actually a little piece of something (lint or something) between the Touch and the plastic screen. This can also be annoying and ugly to the eye.
However, all in all I’m and extreme glad I purchased it and would recommend that you get one for yours.
5 Stars Great iPod touch/iPhone cover!
The thing that made me most nervous about having an iPod touch was that I was afraid that I’d drop it. However, this case is great rubber which would protect it if I ever dropped it. The texture of the rubber on the sides is great grip, which is why I’ve never dropped it. The thing around the back that holds the headphones is awesome, I’m not a huge fan of the iPod headphones, but I stick with them because it’s so easy to store them on this case.

While it was a little difficult at first to get the screen protector on without any air bubbles underneath, the case has been great. I’m clumsy and this thing adds enough protection around the areas that would hit the floor that I feel pretty good carrying this thing around.
One thing to note though, while I haven’t upgraded to better earphones than the ones that came with the Touch, I plan to in the future, which will most likely make the attached earphone organizer on the back a moot addition…but in the meantime, while I’m using the earphones that came with the Touch, it makes things a 100-times better…I used to just wrap the cord around the Touch before and without fail every time the cord with tangle and I’d spend 3 minutes trying to untangle the dang wire…so, it’s a great feature if you plan on always using the earphones that came with the Touch.
Overall, I think it’s great and kind of sharp looking for a piece of silicone or whatever it’s made out of.
