Seems to not be charging my iPod. Is this perhaps due to the fact that my Shuffle (old style – long) has been used with iTunes? You get what you pay for – almost.

I was skeptical due to the price but I thought what the heck! It works. My ipod’s light went from yellow while charging to Green when charged– Just like it does when it is docked to my PC. It was just that simple!

I purchased this charger for my ipod shuffle and it didn’t work. I plugged it in, put the ipod on it and the next day the ipod was totally dead. VERY disappointed with this purchase!

i wasn’t even sent the same charger in the picture, it was crappy, plastic, did not have folded prongs like described, and did have a red indicator light, that always turns on when plugged into the wall, not to indicate charging. DOES NOT work with my nano or shuffle, I won’t even bother sending it back because it was cheap. I don’t even care what it looks like, as long as it worked, and it doesn’t! Was supposed to be for a trip…

4 Stars Small, light, convenient way to listen to music, podcasts while swimming
I’ve been swimming with this waterproof iPod case/earphone system for several weeks now and so far it works very well. Over the past 20 years of lap swimming exercise I have had a variety of systems to listen to music in the pool, starting with the big & bulky Aquatunes pouch that held my Sony Walkman casette player to various sizes of the Otterbox to a completely waterproofed iPod shuffle, and now this H2O Audio Interval Waterproof iPod Shuffle case. The pro’s: It’s easy to insert the iPod shuffle and clamp it tight. The earphones are sealed and integral to the case, so they can’t come out. You can buy lots of sizes of earbud covers to get a good watertight fit for your ears. If you buy extra warranty protection on your iPod, as I did from Best Buy, supposedly even if you get your iPod wet by sealing the case incompletely (the most likely error you can make when you use any waterproof case), your iPod will still be covered and will be repaired for free or replaced. Now for the cons: Integrated headphones mean that if a wire comes loose or anything else goes wrong with the headphones, you need to replace the whole case, not just plug in a new set of waterproof headphones. The Shuffle doesn’t hold a whole lot of stuff on it; you need to keep deleting things to free up space to put new stuff on. Sooner or later I know I’m going to fail to seal the case correctly and the iPod within will get wet. If that makes it stop working, I’m going to have to find out if that 2-year extended warranty that I bought from Best Buy really does cover this situation. But for now, I am happy to report that this waterproof case&headphone system works well, sounds good, and is easy to use. I recommend it as a way for swimmers to be able to work out to music or podcasts.
2 Stars Unhappy with it because of Pool Policies in this Big City
The day I got this, I went to 2 private and 1 public pools in Tokyo in my area of town (Shinjuku) all excited and ready to start my swim training for the first time in many years.
Unfortunately, the pool staff all said that it is their policy not to allow headphone use, because the swimmers cannot hear Lifeguard warnings.
The staffer at the last pool I visited was sympathetic. She said, I can go to the ocean (2 hours from me) or try at hotel or resort pools! Ha ha..
Maybe if I get a headband I will take it with me while walking in the rain, but unfortunately I could not put it to good use today. I will try again tomorrow to find a nearby pool that does not have a no-headphone policy.
Well, the packaging was so secure, I couldn’t get the product out of the package without destroying the package.
I am enjoying my little new iPod 2GB though.

This works great but its just a plastic case with some ear plugs. Just seemed a little pricy for what you get.

At first I thought this product didn’t work (like the other reviewers here) but then I plugged it into a USB port directly on my computer (instead of a USB hub) and it works fine. I wish that were listed in the description, so I could have gotten a longer cord.

Like many others, the dock that came with my 2G shuffle got bent and broken. I thought it couldn’t hurt to try this replacement for $3 and free shipping… and it works great! It syncs and charges and is nice and compact.

I got this cable as a replacement for an iPod shuffle, but it doesn’t fit. The cable that arrived has a 2.5 mm diameter plug, my iPod shuffle has a 3.5 mm socket. Don’t know if seller sent wrong cable or if there are different models of the Apple’s 2nd Generation shuffle.
